  • Do you use a brake light modulator

I am a huge believer in the Kisan tailBlazer brake light modulator. I have had one on every Goldwing I have owned. I am pretty sure it has saved my a** at lease a couple of times.

I use the Signal Dynamics "Back Off" brake light modulator. Also have their headlight modulator installed. I KNOW that has saved my butt more than once.

I have used the Signal Dynamics break light modulator for several year and am a firm believer in it. I just recently added the Kisan headlight modulator and have seen good results when using it. Joe in Redding

I am about to add another modulator to my trunk brake lights. I already have one wired into my spoiler LED, but I want one on the trunk lights too.

Yeah... I hate this auto correct spelling on this tablet. Sometimes it won't let you spell how you want no matter how much you try.

I met the owner of Hyper-lites at Wing Ding a couple of years ago. Great guy. His booth was next to mine in the WingStuff booth.

Anyone want to give the pros/cons of the various models and their approximate cost/ease of installation? Thanks!

There was a Kisan Tailblazer on my candy red 2012/abs when I bought it two weeks ago. I just finished install of the 3-way hyperlites about an hour ago. I'm getting to learn this new to me motorcycle, and loving it. Plan to take it to the Iowa State Fair later this week, after I install my HIDs.

I installed the Kisan Tailblazer after watching Cruiseman's video and reading a lot about all the others out there. This one works for me and was a piece of cake to install at the same time I installed my spoiler. It's kinda funny to watch people following me just a little to close when I start to slow down! The front end of their car dives, sometimes they start to swerve and just basically seem surprised to see what happens when I slow down. The effect is even better at night! There are other modulators out there that don't cost as much as the Kisan but when it comes to being seen and keeping me and my passenger safe, I'll spend a few extra bucks!

I love my modulators front and rear. :D I know they have prevented potential idiots from performing stupid moves in front of and behind me.

I run the Kisan headlight modulator on the high beams of my 06WING. This one costs a little more but is super easy to install. Just plugs onto the back of the bulbs and locate the daylight sensor.

I run the Signal Dynamics Wig-Wag modulator out back hooked up to LEO type LED's (from superbrightleds.com) mounted high and low. One to the underside of the luggage rack (no spoiler on mine) and one replaced the lower reflector near the ground under the license plate. Not at all difficult to install and wire but I would not recommend it to first time DIY'ers.

Also replaced all of the rear run/brake bulbs with LED replacements from superbrightleds.com. These units produce a better red color (since they are red) and put out at least as much light if not a bit more then the oem bulbs at a mere fraction of the wattage and they do light up the entire fixture, not just a spot in the middle like some units I've seen.

I use the kury but am adding a separate side to side alternating LED on a bracket by the license plate. Can never have too much warning but then my FD vehicle has 38 LEDS and a 200 watt siren. Copes probably would frown on the siren on the bike

I have both brake light and headlight modulators (both from Kisan). I'm sure they have prevented an accident more than once

I'm thinking of getting one for my trunk spoiler light. How hard are they to install??
