  • Screwed by Bridgestone?

I bought 2 Bridgestone tires during their "rebate" period and receive a Visa debit card, but only for $30 instead of the $60 I should have received.

Chris, call corporate and let them know your situation.
As long as you have proof of purchase showing it was within the rebate period, I would think they will make it right.

I believe I got $60 as well, you need to check off on one submission the number of tires and the model. I'm not saying you didn't do this but it was easy to misunderstand how they wanted it submitted.

Why don't they just take the $30 off each tire and not make us go through this freakin' happy dance to get the rebate? Sheesh!!

Believe it or not there is a percentage of people that won't do it cause it's too much trouble. Bridgestone makes thousands on people like that.

                1. Call the place you bought the tire from to straighten the rebate out.
                2. I stopped years ago from buying anything that I have to send in a receipt for a rebate. (Sorry we never received it type of BS excuses-made me realize-it was a scam)
                3. take the rebate off the selling price if you think you are offering a deal. and I'll decide if I want to pay your price or not?

BTW-What was the price for the tires after this rebate?

I just bought 2 709's from Dennis Kirk for 251.76 (125.88 each) delivered.

I bought my Bridgestone tires as a combo tire sale. Bridgestone sent a $30 rebate even though I marked the 2 boxes for the different tires. I called the number on the rebate form and it took about 10 minutes to straighten out. Week and a half latter I received a second $30 card. I think the problem came from some one looking at the bill of sale and not seeing that 2 tires were purchased.

I bought a set of Bridgestone Exedra tires(G852 & G853) for the 2018 Gold Wing from American Moto Tire. They were originally $271.76 and $211.76 after rebate.
