  • Screen Height

I have a short screen for my Wing, I think it's a Cee Bailey.

At 5' 7", I still don't quite get the air flow over it that I would like, I'm going to cut it down an inch at a time, but I'd like to know the height go the FB6 screen, in the center, at its lowest position.

    Thanks

Chris, the windshield on anF6B is not adjustable like on the Wing. I have 3 of the OEM windshields for F6Bs at my house...and you can have one for FREE. Once I get home from this trip...next week, contact me, and I will send you one.

That's very generous, but I'm not sure if it will fit, someone can answer that for me. I just wanted to get a ball park height before I started cutting.

Chris, "I" can answer that for you. Technically...it will fit. BUT.....the OEM windshield for an F6B only has 3 mounting holes in it, so...you would either have to use only 3 of your 5 mounting screws for the Wing, or...drilled 2 additional holes in the F6B windshield. If you want I can measure the F6B windshields when I get home.

BTW, any Wing windshield will fit on an F6B, but again you would tehn only use 3 of the mounting holes, and leave 2 of them empty.

My bike was used and previous owner had a TALL vented shield which I cut down to 14" above rubber gasket.
At 5'8", I can look over it and have been pretty happy so far but I might cut another 1" off.

I use a VStream normally, but as stated I have this short screen. Even with the short screen, the wind is hitting me in the helmet, I want that to hit me in the chest, which is why I'm going to start cutting it lower.

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood your question.

Stock F6B screen is 7" at center from gasket to top of screen and you get a LOT of air. Probably the first thing most new F6 owners change.
