  • SuperBrace Installation on F6B

I recently did a video for SuperBrace showing the installation of a black SuperBrace on an F6B. Installation is identical to a Goldwing.

Installed one on my 2014 Black Goldwing, install was easy, looks great, To bad the factory paint isn't as good looking or the quality of this brace.

That's how I felt about the paint on my 2007 after I got my Bushtec trailer.

It appears the consumer is going to be living with crummy paint from now on thanks to water based paint with no clear coat.

No crummy paint on the other Honda models, only the GL1800. Look at the paint on a VFR1200 or a CB1100.

I can't locate the EPA mandates on water based paint. Honda did use a very soft paint with no clear coat on the F6B. It kept coming off on wax applicators and polishing rags on my bike. Plus polishing swirls really became visible in sun. I wound up having it repainted and a clear coat. I changed the color from fast red to Indy 500 winning yellow.
