Attaching Photos To A Post

Some of you have been asking how to attach photos to your posts. So, here is a short help sheet on how to do it.

Place your cursor where you want the photo to appear
Click on the Camera icon



You should see an Upload and Select from Photo Album buttons




If you wish to upload a new image, click the Upload button

The Upload dialog will appear.



Select an image file from your computer's hard drive and click Open


Your image should be uploaded and a dialog will appear where you can enter a short description of the photo:



Enter some text (or not) and click Continue

When you click POST, your image will appear in your post.

When I click on the upload button nothing happens on my phone or my laptop. I am able to copy and paste, I can also add a link. just can't upload photos. I've tried it in the default mode and the v Vbulliten mode and still nothing.

Is it possible that you are trying to upload images that are too large? Try reducing the size to 600 X 600 pixels.

Guys, maybe this site will help some of you...I use it all the time to resize my pictures...Hope it helps someone...of course it is free

I. Haven't been able to get that far into the process. Nothing happens when I click the upload button. I'm sure it's a setting on my end, I'll keep playing with it.

That sounds like some kind of browser issue. Have you tried using a different browser (e.g. Firefox)?

I am using firefox, I'll try the big "e"

I have done what Cruiseman said, I have even resize my pictures, and I am using Firefox...still not working for me.

You can also upload pictures from Photobucket if you have an account and they are nice pictures to view on the forums, like this.

I copy and paste from FB and it works great, I can also add a link and it also works great, I just can't use the upload feature. It is not that big of a deal, If I can't get it after a couple more tries, I can work around it.

How do you link them to photo bucket?

If you have an account and you have photos in your albums you can click the gear on a picture and it will bring up a box and you then click share which then brings up another box with 3 tabs and you click the links tab which then gives you 4 boxes. You want to click the bottom ING code box which is good for forums. Once you click that box the picture is copied and then you simply right click and paste in the post you are making. Good luck.
