Subscribing to a post

When I joined and posted to a thread I was given the option to subscribe to that thread and then I would be notified by email of future replies to that thread. Lately I notice that the option to subscribe is not offered hence no email notification. Whats the cure to remedy this problem? Thanks

The only time you should see the Subscribe button is AFTER you have saved the thread. Then, when you re-open the thread, the Subscribe button should be there. I believe that in the next release of vBulletin, whenever you post to a thread, it can automatically subscribe you to the thread (like the 'good old days')

Do you really want all them reminders of post on the board filling up your inbox?

The forum is not notifying me of replies either. So if you're tracking a thread and someone comments, maybe directly at you, you'll never know. ?

I figured out what I need to do, maybe it's your problem too? You need to click that "+ Subscribe" button in the upper right in order to get notified of new posts in a thread.

Yes I was doing that when I first started posting, but then. for about 3-4 days the + subscribe button wasn't showing up on my computer screen. Now the last 2 days everything is back to normal and the subscribe option shows up. Go figure. Thanks for your reply and glad you got your problem figured out.
