  • Spell Checker

Am I the only one that is having trouble with the spell checker? It will show me that the word is spelled wrong with a red line under the word...but will not show the correct spelling when I right click the word...hey I can't spell for $**t & I need all the help I can get..

Tommy, my 'puter does that too. However, when I move the mouse away from the underlined word and then move it back, then right click on the word, it will show the correct spelling. YMMV.

Mine is hit or miss. Most times not, but sometimes yes. I'll find the pattern and report back.

      Update!

Well that was too easy. If I do a new "Write something", I get the spell checker. If I quote someone, it's broken.

Sometimes you have to be close to the spelling of the word for spell check to catch. I've been so off on some words SC shows nothing. I have to go to a new window/site to eventually find the correct spelling and then I realize how far off I was in trying to spell a word. Brain farts happen.
