  • MarketPlace.. Please invite those you know!

As a small biz vendor that was paying the $600 per year tax to the Commandant of Gulag 1800 the only thing I got was the right to post my embroidery items in the general forum. Cruiseman has given small business types like me a great deal in the Marketplace. Anyone you know thats making and selling items and either paying the "tax" to the commandant, or are wanting to let others know they've got some goods to sell need to check out setting up shop in "The Marketplace".

Please pass the word. Whether its someone who makes GL1800 Keyholders, or dash clamps etc. They get better exposure and a better atmosphere here in theglforum.com

This is great to know and this place is so much better for so many reasons then that other waste of time of a forum. Sounds to me like the other place is just a rip off.

Not so much a rip-off for established businesses that can afford the sponsorship fee. But for a small, one-man, home-based business, it is out of reach. I should emphasize that The Forum Marketplace is for the "little guy", not for the bigger, established companies. You can read more about The Marketplace qualifications here: http://www.theglforum.com/TheMarketplace

As a sponsor on the other forum, I never had a complaint about the price, only that they did not deliver what they promised. Plus, when their moderator began publicly denigrating me and my product, that was the final straw.

Yep, a lot of good advice there and there are a bunch of guys who could benefit. Mitch Patrie who makes the Mojolever and Mojoblocks for changing tires, Pop Chance and his mudflaps and others that escape me now. I see Yoda joined the board recently so I wouldn't be surprised if he jumps in the fray.
