  • New Topics and Mark Channels Read

I'm using the latest Firefox and have noticed that New Topics does not sort new topics since last on the site (or once I'm on put newer ones at the top) and Mark Channels Read doesn't clear out anything I've read or seen on the new item list since I've been on.

Hmmm, sounds almost like a cookies issue on your browser. You mentioned Firefox, are you saying that it works differently on another browser?

I had only tried it in Firefox at that point. Afterward, I confirmed it does the same in my IE.

Edited to add: I was just comparing responses to selecting the four buttons (New Topics, Who's online, Mark Channels Read and Member List) and I'm getting no response at all to clicking on the Mark Channels Read option. This is in both Firefox and IE. The others either change to that screen or does something similar to a refresh, but selecting Mark Channels Read gets no response at all.

Hah! Now I've lost New Topics and Who's Online altogether from the four buttons. It's down to only Mark Channels Read and Member List. I did notice at work that they were visible until I logged in. (both browser types previously mentioned.)

Same for me, except I'm using Safari.

              Chris,

I've lost the New Posts option altogether. It never came back.
