I have a suggestion. It's nothing earth-shattering, but one of my pet peeves about "out of the box customizable web packages" is when the admins get the core pages looking like "their own", but neglect that icon up in the address bar. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look up at the address bar right now, and you'll see something that looks like this
That's the VBulletin logo. Nothing really wrong with it, but it's just ... bleh. Wouldn't it be nicer if you had something that was "yours" (the forum)? There are added advantages, when a user saves it in their favorites, the logo shows up with the saved favorite, plus if a user has several VBulletin sites open at once, the tab with this one is easily identifiable.
Here's a link - http://www.chami.com/tips/internet/110599i.html - that describes this all, but basically you create a 16 x 16 pixel logo, save it in Windows Icon format (the link has a tool that lets you do that), and save it in the root of the system as faveicon.ico (VBulletin may have another method of assigning the file).
Sometimes it takes a while for it to "kick in" for all the users, but once done, it adds a nice little touch to the site.
