  • Any Updates Yet?

Chris, Heard anything back from vBulletin on the changes/corrections that you have requested from them for the forum software?

I'm sure there are others that I missed or can't remember, but the list below is what I came up with so far?.
    • Icon showing which threads we have posted in
    • Tapatalk Support
    • Adding a column in Search Results to show which Board a thread is from
    • Adding member's location under avatar

Other members may think of more.

    I also have another question...

In "Search Results" (Today's Posts in particular) it doesn't seem to make any difference whether I select "Ascending" or "Descending" order. The resulting list is all over the place with regard to how long ago the posts were made. There is no apparent order to them whatsoever. (I have them sorted by "Date - last update".)

Thanks for a great forum. When a few "bugs" are worked out it will be even an even better one.

You are correct, but just like in real life I could do without mosquitoes and ants.

I think we will be getting 5.1.3 any day now, but not sure what that release includes.

I hope they are better than Honda/Garmin updates!

Can we have an AMEN on that. We will all have to get used to the growing pains, still better than you know where IMHO.

I know things take time, but I tend to be a little impatient I guess. If I knew it was coming, at least, I could wait a little easier. "Good things are worth waiting for". At least that's what my Mom use to tell me.

Well I see we got the page navigation bar at the bottom of the page with the last software upgrade. Any word on the other things?

I think they update the software about one a month. I will check to see what is scheduled for the next release.

This is a nice feature, they come along slowly but surely.

I agree. This is a nice feature, but it would also be nice to be able to see which threads I have posted in by the use of a unique icon. And another column with the forum name would also be great to have. That way I wouldn't have to open a thread only to find out it's a Darksider thread or a trike thread for instance. I'm talking about when you click on "Today's Posts" under the "Forums" tab. This is still a great forum and I'm not complaining, just making suggestions.

To me this is one of the things that really needs to be addressed as it is frustrating to never know what you have been active in other than going back and looking at all of the posts you have made. That is a waste of time in my opinion and Cruiseman has been trying to get this resolved from the sounds of it but nothing yet.

You can click "subscribe" to any thread you have posted in and you'll get notification whenever that thread has new posts but you must click subscribe. I think an auto subscribe feature would take care of this issue.

I have been told that this will be in the 5.1.5 release (we are at 5.1.3 now). For some reason, they took it out, and they are putting it back in. Weird.
