Is their a quick way to see which threads you have replied to without opening your profile. I may be just missing something.

Just wondering if there is a way to show me when I have replied to a post so that I don't, during a bout of CRS, reply twice in the same post.
I know that most of the other forums that I participate in, there will be some indicator on the post heading that I have replied.

By the way, so far this is looking like a great site!

    Thanks

This is the same question I have inquired about previously. It would be nice to see an arrow or something that shows that you have already posted to a particular thread.

It did when I first joined, but then it stopped. The icon below had a small dot in the lower right corner when you had posts in a thread.

Not at this time. But this has been reported to vBulletin and hopefully we will see this in a future release of version 5.1.x.

The reality is that there were features in version 4 that are not in version 5. Not sure why that is.

Were we on version 4 for a while at first? In reference to Post #6 above, this is what I remember the icon looking like. (I made this one with MS Paint)

Hmmmm, seems like the new and improved version of something again is not always better.

It really is interesting. It seems like they started with a blank piece of paper and re-wrote the entire program from the ground up. There are some pretty cool new features in 5.x that are not available in 4.x, but I guess we always tend to focus on what we DON'T have instead of what we DO have. vBulleting is aware of my wish list, and I am not along. They have been very responsive and I know many of these issues are being addressed in future releases:
                    • Better mobile UI (e.g. Tapatalk or others)
                    • More layout control
                    • Member names in groups tied to "joining" rather than "subscribing"
                    • Member avatars showing up in Groups
                    • Back to Top button
                    • Better page navigation
                    • Photo albums visible to everyone
                    • Location appears under avatar

Some of the cool new features that we now have, and frankly, that not many are using:
                    • Like a post allows you to "vote" on a post
                    • Flag a post if you find something offensive, sends an alert to Moderators
                    • Comment on a post - different from posting a reply. It allows you to submit comments that might otherwise drive the thread off-topic.
                    • Better Post editor with more formatting options
                    • Easy to attach photos and videos to posts
                    • The whole Groups construct is superior to sub-forums in many respects. Takes some getting used to, but I think everyone will like it once they are used to it.
                    • And more...
