Looks like the avatar issue remains an issue. I'm repeatedly getting the following error:

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

In fact, I took a snapshot of the error to post....and couldn't post the snapshot. :D

I'm sure it'll get worked out - just mentioning it to say it's still happening. Best regards!

I had a similar issue but I believe it had to do with the size of the file. When I resized below 600x600 it worked fine. Give it a try.

Just found this in the rules regarding Avatar images: "Images should be limited to no more than 160 pixels wide X 160 pixels tall"

Edited to say WOOHOO!! It worked! Not sure why, but I tried it, tried it again and tried it again. Didn't do anything different, just whatever was stopping it....stopped. If it doesn't work the first time, before getting out of the function try it several more times.

I too have noticed some quirks in vBulletin's image upload. I have had to try a couple of times to get some images to upload. I have informed vBulletin support about this.
