  • Automatic picture resizing

    Is there a program that can resize pictures that we post? I keep getting picture is to large. There's one for the avatar pictures.

    It's not automatic, but I like IrfanView. It's free and a great photo viewer. You can easily convert formats and save to smaller file sizes. (I am not associated with this company or its software.)

      From my experience even when you have the pic the right size this version of vBulletin will often reject the pic. So it may not be you at all.

        I believe there's a 1 meg file size limit. I know I bumped against it a couple times, resized down and posted ok.,

              If you're on a Windows system, load the photo into Paint (ACESSORIES -> PAINT) and use the resize option, then save it under a new name.

                An auto picture sizer attached to this site would be good.
                ie You attach out of your photo folder without making the changes before you try to attach the photo.
                The site resizer does its majic and presto.
                All photos come out with the right pixels and a uniform size.
                I have to copy - reduce by 50%. That seems to work ok.
                Me being the technocrat an all - well I struggle.

                  That's what I was talking about KIWI. This site should have the program to resize automaticly.
