Getting in my last good ride of the season this weekend. Heading out today for KY via Marion, VA. Then tomorrow or Sunday doing a ~6 hour upper KY circle. Great times! Hope everyone who can gets in one last good ride before the weather kicks in.

I'm jealous!I haven't been able to get out for nearly a month.Nothing but cold,crappy,wet weather.I can take the cold and I can take the wet,but cold and wet just plain sucks.Chris

Well, it was chilly starting out - low 50's and by mid-day and mid-NC it finally got up to ~70. The ride across VA from I-77 to Marion was awesome!! We were on a good number of windy country roads and the smells were even better. The Dragon was excellent as well. Not much traffic, not much gravel and the scenery was terrific! Once we got to Tazewell we hopped onto 460 and traffic was gruesome. We finally got to Mt Sterling just after 2100 (almost 13 hours of riding). Got back this evening after riding around KY yesterday and coming back down the Back of the Dragon towards home. NO traffic on the Dragon and going southbound was even better than riding it northbound (which I had done twice on different rides).
