It was another great weekend. Lots of fun, fun people, and great scenery and weather! On top of that I made it home safely in non record time!

I made it home without hitting rain or snow. However the local news recommends being off the roads by 3:00 this afternoon.

Re: my Garmin GPS troubles....googling the problem I found this possible solution:
1 - let the battery drain (it should drain in one day just by sitting)
2 - apply power then push and hold the 'on' button for 12 seconds.

Doing so should reboot the GPS.
I followed those directions and voila! I have a GPS again.

If anyone finds themself in the same situation I was in, try the above method...and good luck!

Thanks to biglefti for checking the GPS connection with his multi meter...and to everyone else who gave suggestions. I was very happy to find such a simple and no cost solution.
