I hope the roads are All open, after last years flooding wiped out some of the roads?.

Scotty's Castle isn't going to be open again this year (Repairs at the castle after the flood a few years ago,are still going on)

Personally. I am fed up with motel 6 screwing up my reservations,and lousy service!!

I'm looking at the Exchange club,
Right near the BBQ joint.
Parking in front of rooms.
Rooms are cleaner than motel 6.

What say ye?

I'm with you concerning the lousy service and less than tidy rooms at the "6", Rocky. When I was picking up Dale's stuff after his mishap I noticed how nice the rooms were compared to the "6". I think I'll book the Exchange Club for the 3 nights and wait and see about the weather, road closures or openings, etc. Rooms can always be canceled.

I would do any hotel that was in “stumbling” distance from a drinking venue…. As far as the exchange club, last time I stayed there was “less than nice” made motel 6 look like the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas!!

Years ago that may have been true. But not what I seen for myself last year in Dale's room.

Mex restaurant on corner may be a welcome change from Lenny's? (They serve breakfast)

Dana and I have booked our room at the Exchange club. Arrive Friday 17th and leaving Monday 20th. My brother Gregg has also booked.

Fingers crossed for good weather. And yes Rocky it was time for a change. The 6 last year was terrible.

I am writing to express my sincere apologies for not being able to attend the upcoming gathering. As much as I was looking forward to it, unforeseen circumstances have arisen that will prevent me from being able to attend.

I understand that my absence may cause disappointment, and for that, I am truly sorry. I know how much time and effort goes into planning events like this, and I regret not being able to join in and be a part of it again this year.

I hope that the gathering is a great success and that everyone has a wonderful time.
