Thanks Rocky, I been visiting a lot of family and friends and really enjoying it. I don't know a lot of people between here and Ohio so I may pick up the pace a bit. However, this morning I'll ride 14A which I've never done before. After that I'll try and dodge the Sturgis traffic the best I can.

Excellent blog! I'm going to try to get up there next year; especially 14A and over. Ride safe!

I'm getting ready to ride 14A today. I've not done it before, no idea why not, been in the area many times.

Sometimes, that's not such a bad way to travel - especially in regions like you are in now.

The organized events in Sturgis end on Sunday the 11th. You *could* choose to push north into Montana and avoid the madness that way.

Actually, I'm camped out in my motel room in Moorcroft tonight and will try to do a highlight tour of Sturgis tomorrow. I'll hit Devils tower early, Check out LaTrelle street or however you spell it. Maybe make a quick pass through Deadwood and Rushmore then on to Wall Drug, and the corn palace. I just need to be close to Iowa by tomorrow night so I can catch up with a buddy in Ohio the next day.

Eh, what's the difference? All those midwest states look the same...

biglefti you're doing a fantastic job of posting your trip/pictures. Me thinks that you may have gotten some private tutoring from the master of the blog, Donnie On The Road.
Following along is bringing back so many great memories of trips that I've taken.

That is a beautiful part of the country. I have been over those roads when I lived in Green River Wyoming. Too bad the winters are so long.

No Ken, I just rode the two highways because I was running late that day.
