  • 13th Annual Death Valley Rally, President's Day weekend

It's come to my attention, some of our northern brothers would like to attend the Death Valley Rally.

But have concerns about foul weather coming to or going back home?

Fear not my wear road riders.

Do what many others have done in the past.

Load you bike onto your pick up like this guy.

Or,better still. Load your bike into a nice n cozy enclosed trailer, And trailer it to a closer destination where the white stuff isn't on the roads any longer.

Enjoy a few days of riding before you have to make a return run. (Many do this every year)

There has to be a constant flow of Tools on a bus out there?.
One gets tired and gets off, another two jump on the band wagon.(Fine entertainment at its best)

Was was working in her office and heard me ROTFLMAO,

So she comes out and asks. What are you watching?

    I didn't say a word.

    I hit replay.

She says- I hope those ramps are tied together???

After he rode up the ramp.

She said "Well he did get it up there"

    Not gracefully-But up there!

I searched, but he didn't make a video of getting it down.

That had to be as good,I'm sure!!

He is as lucky with a snow machine too.

After he got off the bike he looked at the camera like, "Damn, that's on film."

Of course, mine is completely rank amateur, compared to Cruiseman's stuff...but it's something.

Windows Movie Maker...yeah, the ancient one from Windows 7 days.

I *really* need to play with some of these other options, but I *know* this program. :D

I've got Shotcut...but it's a bit complex for some of what I'm doing.

Found these two videos today is a sweet section of road.

(Goofy up to .18, Although video'd in a truck-it does capture the pace some enjoy on the 168)

This guy don't like no clean paint!, And is tough on his gear box.

The rider that did that second video...I've watched it a few times before.

The upper section in second gear? Too slow - that's third gear for me. What I don't like about it...I'm getting a touch of vertigo watching it, only because there's not enough bike in the shot to get the brain a point of reference.

            I agree.
my goal was to show others, the road more so. Than who/how it was filmed.

Not my video...but this is better, IMO.

"Between Oasis, CA and Deep Springs, CA traveling west/southwest on our way to Bishop, CA"

          Mapped: https://goo.gl/maps/ekzWpmLdxKB2

So, you've ridden about a hundred miles from Beatty to get to the location of the start of this video. After this, there's a ten mile high speed run before the fun part (in my opinion...) of 17 miles.
