  • Crazy weather here in Vancouver WA. We had 3" overnight and most of it melted off by 3 pm so I went up to the grocery store to get some essentials. Coffee, beer and some things for the wife. When I left the house the sun was shining and by the time I left the store the sky was dark gray and the snow was coming down hard again. Weatherman predicts snow off & on for the next 9 days. Last week they were bragging about the very mild winter that we were having. Go figure. I'm going to send some of the snow your way Pooch. I only do that for my UT buddies.

...and since you live with your parole officer, it's probably best for all concerned. glarson3 and I will do our best in keeping Tiny Tim out of trouble.

    • Weather forecast is improving dramatically. With all the snow we've had recently I'm wondering what the pass is going to look like. Anyone planning to take that route in to give us a heads up? Other than some wind on Monday, it looks very good.

Wednesday is supposed to be a crappy weather day; that'll be the day I do it.

Tomorrow, I need to go put in a little pre-ride practice.

pack wisely. You don't have much room on those small and slow bikes.

Can't hit the 'like' button on this post, Jim - understand you & Busters situation completely, however.

        • What's the problem Pooch. You got two front wheels on that contraption now?? Put some springy chains on and go for it.

Then you & Matt can swap stories on how cold you were getting to the "sunshine".

I went for it yesterday and put the bike back together.
To see how I'd do on the bike going to the Chiropractor?.

Lets just say . We'll be enjoying "Our Superbowl" live this year the "Daytona 500"
In a nice n warm living room drinking a few mountains.

There was a few moments on the 60 miles that I said "Should I just go to DV?" I might be able to do this? (if I don't sneeze)
Then when I got home,I almost dropped the bike getting off.
It was a nice thought while it lasted-
Like I said. DV isn't going anywhere.

Weather in the Valley is going to be fine!!.
Beatty OTOH will require a 12 battery in your backpack to use your heated gear in the parking lot BS sessions. or just hang at the bar.

Everyone have a safe ride to/from and in the park.

I was hoping someone coming from up north would be able to do that. I'm mostly worried about the top about 10 miles out of big pine. I hit ice one year on the narrow section where it gets shaded and goes down to one lane. I'm thinking I might bypass that section until someone rides it, or try it on the way back from lunch.

I would definitely slow down. Biggest concern isn't if the bike will go down, it's if I can get it back up on an ice rink.
