It's a good thing. We look to have validated that the shirt that I picked out goes well with the pants that I have on. Or to have Mr. Watson confirm that he heard you. Then, there is that moment when you get to see something that you had figured all along, like this morning when I was looking in to see what the latest news was for the Triker gathering that is taking place in Nashville this weekend and just happen to see the post where MOD #2 (what a perfect number for him), sign off on his post "Dennis." Now THAT was validation!!! I'm sure there was an immediate need for self medication after THAT one. LOL. Yes, I saw the post, and regret that this old laptop of mine, coupled with a Wi-Fi set up at the hotel that worked when the lights were not flickering in the room was unable to get a screen shot. Alas, I was left with the notion that while "I" saw it, there would be no proof and possibly no validation.. But then I see a post from a fellow board member who as luck would have it, also saw what I saw and commented on it. LOL

Yes, validation that an old, smoked up hateful old man was very much a part of the house cleaning. Funny, as it appears there is also validation that one is assured of NOT being drug tested for the job of MOD #2 at least. LOL What else was funny was that ole MOD number 2 has sure been busy.

This also validates why a very good friend of mine made the comment right after I was asked to leave that "he was disappointed," as I now know why he would make that comment.

So, what else has this little slip up validated. Well, it validates just about all I have said from day one. That a sad, hateful little old man would be so vengeful. Life is good, and it just keeps getting better. So, it now all makes sense, but then again, I always knew, I just had to have it validated. Lookinbg forward more than ever to the next RTE as Proud Prowler 007. Gosh, that also explains the "zero" next to "your" name.

Most of us involved in the self medication threads knew it was Dennis who banned Wheels and others simply to win his opinion. There was no way to win with intelligent presentation of fact. So he began to cry personal attack each time he lost his side of the opinion.

Sad when such a person is allowed this kind of power and abuses it for personal gain.

Yet it did backfire, because most of us knew the game behind the game. Day by day, suspicions became fact and many members simply had their fill of the entire situation.

That one called On the Road...........beware, I know who it is, but never one to cry or tell tales, just beware.

I have seen many things in the past several years and learned a great deal of the devious hate of moderators and politics. The GL1800riders board became the perfect example of those wishing power and control. Moderators become moderators for the trip of power it does give them.

It has ended well and we have a new forum, one that will eventually be the best one left.

I saw that reply Dennis made...then in 5 seconds it was deleted and written from MOD 2 ( I think it was 2 maybe 4 sorry) telling him that this was his last warning to Fred...Now all threads that Fred started are gone???? I am not sure (have not looked) if Fred got his wish to be banned or not?? But I must say...Bart is all over GWGreg...for not paying sponsor money...

Yes time to move on, and it will. Thing is when folks are wronged they do take a bit of time to settle down. All that was but suspicion is now known fact and it had to be said. It was the wrong that gave this forum its boost. The wrong brought together a core group that is now stronger than ever.

Yep we do not want to become like them.

Someone go break something so we can fix it, or go to the OTE and eat some popcorn or something.

I got up at 2 a.m. to beat the heat this morning and finished my home powder coat job on my brake rotor hats......looks nice.

Actually, Bartman was all over Greg long before the issue about not paying for sponsorship (or, according to Greg, receiving sponsorship without being billed for it). Bartman is just using that as an excuse to continue his personal attacks.

When I brought the attacks to his attention (he was still a moderator at the time, and this was before the non-payment issue arose), Bartman insisted that everything he was saying was true. I pointed out that the "rules" didn't say factual personal attacks were OK, only that there were to be no personal attacks.

That was when my troubles began. Bartman is definitely an egomaniac that has no respect for anyone's opinion, unless it happens to align with his own.

That's probably true, but in his defense, I don't see Greg running to the front to badmouth Bartman every time he posts something.

I expect that there will be good advice, and bad advice, on a free forum. I also expect that everyone is getting their money's worth. If someone offers bad advice, then there's nothing wrong with them being called on it, when that is the case.

However, to call up something unrelated every time a person posts, goes beyond the pale.

The current "stumble" issue is almost laughable, the way it's being handled "over there". On the one hand, we have a problem that many of us know exists; but some folks are chastising what sounds like a very plausible effort to resolve it (a free effort, I might add) because it's not openly and publicly "blessed" by Honda.

You know, the same Honda that doesn't even acknowledge the problem exists...
