I closed this thread because we prefer people to focus on our forum and our users, not on speculation from people who are just trying to ruin this forum and troll. We say off the other site out of respect for the community, I would expect the same from them. Members are free to post where they want but trolling, recruiting, and trying to circumvent the rues will not be overlooked here.

I received the above from a friend who saw it on the gl 1800 riders forum. The original thread was titled something like: Not many members posting lately.. That is when folks responded about this forum and the administrators got into censorship mode.

I wasn't kicked out over there but I willingly left on my own. The "pizzaz" had gone away and it was not fun any more. Too much heavy-handed moderation for my liking. Much better here.

Lamont was/is a good guy and did a good job. Towards the end, I beleive he had some "distractions" that played a role in certain things. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that even he is a bit disappointed in the direction of where things have and are going. But then again, he may very well have simply laughed all the way to the Bank.

Fred, one should at times, give thanks for small blessings, and I would have to say that it is a darn good thing that us two AMPS did not meet at an earlier time cause I have little doubt that what "we" would have been thrown into would have involved metal bars, a cot, and three square meals a day. LOL

I can proudly say I have never been kicked off any forum........but........ I did get Wheels and myself kicked out of a hotel......nuff said, eh
