Well, needless to say, I was wondering what the heck was going on when I clicked on the 1800 site to read what was going on for the upcoming Trike gathering in Nashville, and much to my surprise "Wheels" was able to now see that he had 11 new (unread) PM's. While still a guest (this is what happens to your account when an example is needed to be made), I was able to read my PMs. And what do I see, but a PM sharing with me somne info about the mod, and a warning. How does that song go about "to much to little too late, LOL".
I must share that I think it is all good. As a person with a severe, and very visual disability, I have worked hard to be accepted and "fit in" with you "able-bodied" guys. Over the course of the last 48 years, this has been a challenge at times, but with the help of some humor and a sense of being easy going, it does appear to have worked. You see, I am totally ok with ticking off a few "old men" who are trying to live a "pipe dream," and go back in time. I understand the need for some to try and go back as they struggle to look forward and often need a crutch when dealing with life. It puts a smile on my face that I was "SO" able to become "one of the boys" that I even ended up with some who simply did not/do not like me. That, to me, means that I was viewed as just "a normal guy." But for some, it seems that things evolved into a "hate" for this ole boy known as Wheels. Again, I am ok with that, as this is what we know as life, and everyone knows I enjoy living it to th fullest and am nbot surprised that there are some who this ole boy (man) makes them feel infeariror and insecure with who they are. Here is a copy of a PM I got from a fan. I removed their name as well.

I made a promise back in 1966 that given this second shot at life, that I was going to live it too the fullest. Of course in order to do so, that means speed bumps along the way, and I have found them to always be "little." Life is grand, and all is well with ole Wheels. Thanks to all the many friends that I have made along the way and I continue to look forward to putting a handshake on each of you along this glorious ride that I am on.
Thanks Chris for allowing Wheels to "roll on."
