Watch the video and read the article. Very interesting.

The formula is simple: Put three battery and auto-industry experts in front of a camera, ask them a few leading questions, and let them debate. That's exactly what the Autoline Network did three weeks ago; the resulting 27-minute video is a must-watch for any electric-car enthusiast. The three panelists are Ann Marie Sastry, founder and CEO of battery maker...

I believe the government gives you a $7500 tax credit if you buy an electric car. If that ends so will the sell of the electric car. Be safe and enjoy the ride. Larry

A friend of mine has a Volt and the other day it would not start. Luckily was still under warranty (35200 mi) and as it turned out a sensor went bad. They put in a new sensor and then had to reprogram the car at a cost of almost $4,000.

In the long run I think what you save in fuel costs doesn't make up for maintenance and battery replacement unless you trade while the vehicle is still under warranty.

Not just that! Without paying for fuel taxes it has been entertained to tax one for miles driven. So running my D-Max is subject to double taxation?

Here in Michigan were about to pass another 20cents per gallon to fix the roads, yet the builders are not held accountable for the marginal work that needs to be addressed 2 years down the road.

If you could store Electric power - there would be no need for a $ Meter on the side of your house - That won't change till the power company can charge for the sun
