          Thanks I think.

Yesterday was a disaster. I took the bike out for a ride to see if I could get the bike with my new ECM up to 155 MPH so I could post "I am the Fastest on a Goldwing"

I had the bike up to 154.999999 miles an hour according to the CA CHP that was for some reason following me rather closely in a Dodge Hemi under cover car.

While he was trying hassle me. I noticed that my pin striping will not hang on at them speeds.

I rode back looking for them after I gave that CHP a dam good tongue lashing!!

I couldn't find then, but I'm going to have to fix this...

Before I started my test run.

After I was done with that CHP clown.

But I do have an award for the fastest GL1800 Goldwing now..:toast:

I guess I might have to change my signature from fastest color to just plain best color. Glad you didn't get hauled off to the poky.

Your bike looks naked now. I just received one of those performance awards recently, those things have gotten expensive.

At least you got a ticket for something fun instead of just using a modulator.

Did someone throw you under the bus, or was it all your fault?

Guys no one can toss me under the bus anymore. I got me some counter measures now. A jammer is ordered too. :toast:

I went to pep boys and found some of these yesterday.

Hopefully these will stay on when I am being chased again.

I think you will enjoy this 'ride' I had one Sunday morning early in ~2007. We met at an Anaheim Kawasaki shop. Everyone but me was on their Kawas. I was on my SV1000S. Well, the group took off south on I-5 and before ya' could count to ten, IT STARTED! The KZ1400 opens up. The KZ1000 did the best he could to stay up. The KZ650 amazed me at how fast it was! Even an old KZ250 was doing an honest 100 down I-5 on an early Sunday morning.

Me, I slowed up at an indicated 155. Fastest I have ever had that bike.

It took about a week to get the grin off of my face!!

                      Joe T.

Hey Juan: I will be installing my new Blinder 905 pdq. Along with a 'quick shelf'.
QD has hinted he may be headed up here for a few days of 'beach monitoring'.

To get that award I believe you have to ride the Dragon and do lots of curves, all within 24 hours.
