Funny stuff. I always used to like the segment where Jay Leno would show similar headlines on his show.

Thanks. Pretty funny stuff. BTW, have you noticed how poorly newspapers are written these days?

I see pathetic writing in a lot of places that you would think had editors that knew how to spell and use proper grammar. My big peeve these days is the use of "Me and Kim went for a ride". They talk like that on television shows now.

I agree. My peeve is the use of "either" to mean both. If you mean both the word is each (each side). One or the other is "either" (either side). Everyone seems to be doing this. When did this start?

Its not politically correct to correct people now, unless they are not politically correct, then you can correct them.

Our society is getting lazy. People have no grammar. They text 'short hand' style and are now talking like that. I've seen reports written with the short hand in places from the younger generation.

I guess its the evolution of the language. Is it bad? No just difference.

Otherwise we would still be talking like Shakespeare.

I used to have two grammers, but they both passed on when I was a child. I think it's unfair of you to pick on those of us who have lost our grammers through no fault of our own.

My two pet peeves, "irregardless" and "those ones". There is no such word as irregardless and "those" is sufficient when pointing out something. Those ones are what I hate, irregardless of what you say.

How about "these ones" Or "I seen it"

One of my pet peeves is when they say, you can make two choices, BLACK or RED. You are only making A SINGLE choice between either black or red. Two choices would be BLACK or RED then SMALL or LARGE.

Or how about "we conversated" instead of "we conversed"

Cruiseman, I like your statement "When you put a white glove in mud, it does not turn the mud white." I'm guessing 'mud' is a polite euphmism and the meaning is a turn on "trying to pick up a turd by the clean end."
