don't know what's going but here's the deal, I was banned like some of you other guys, still have that site on my favorites,hit it by accident a little while ago and no "this isp has been banned", went right to forums, no problem, just to make sure I signed in with my name&password, no problem, don't know what's up, don't care,

I still go over there and I don't find it boring. There is always some childish arguments going on that are fun to read.

There was one last week on the subject of Banned members and why PM's wouldn't work to them.
The thread went on for a few pages and finally got locked and all postst deleted except the original post and one reply that referred to this site as "the other inferior site".
It made me laugh!

It has been weeks since I looked at that place and I just happened to have a look this morning and it is still like a bunch of old ladies *****ing, making fun of this site and complaining about that site. There are some people that have no life apparently.

There still are plenty people post on the General Discussion, but it's always the same old stuff.

The best one I've seen recently was a thread in the OTE...I think it was the Palin fight. It was teetering on political. Mod 2 was justifying his criteria for locking / deleting a tread or post vs. letting it continue. While that was going on Mod 4 came in behind him and locked it down for being too political. Even the mods over there, now, can't come to any consensus.

When I went back to see if there was any response, the thread had been locked and trimmed to just the two posts.

I commented on it too. Nothing negative or nasty, yet mine and most everyone else's posts were deleted.
And Larry has stated on many occasions that the only thing that has changed there is the elimination of the Hot Box. Those folks need to open their eyes and look at whats going on around them.

I still like to go to the other site, but a lot less often and for different reasons than this one. To me the old board has lost a lot of its legitimacy.

One of the things thats sad about the old board also is how many old threads are suddenly appearing. Im not a rocket scientist but after being on there quite a few years it seems like theyre doing anything to try to increase viewing traffic. Some guys are writing it off as newbies but it looks like traffic management to me.
