What a piece of crap of a fire fighter to pull this stunt if it is completely true. He should be fired permanently for making these accusations. I think the cameras are a great idea as long as they are used to protect the public as well but who knows if the recordings can get easily misplaced if wanted, if you know what I mean.

I think body cams are a great idea for LEOs. But having said that, I heard on the news this morning that the Department of Homeland Security will require Border Patrol Agents working on the southern border to wear them. BUT it's not to protect the Agents, it's to protect the illegal aliens from excessive force. What a CROCK!

The division of racial hatred is today more than it has been in past times. This is amplified today with the instant communications we have in modern times as example after example only reinforce the personal experiences of all.

When personal body cams first came out several officer bought them for their own civil protection against BS complaints.. Most like myself just kept quiet about it because they were not popular nor accepted by the old school cops. Also we found it "fun" to NOT let the violators know that they were being recorded.. so we could show IA how many BS racial and excessive complaints were being filed by guilty suspects to mitigate their crime. Complaints that HAD to be investigated dropped by over 3/4. due to the recordings. We knew the recording could not be used in a court of law but administratively they were great to prevent officers from having to worry about it. NOW we have to inform them that they are being recorded immediately

Also THE CAMSTHAT ARE BEING OFFICIALLY USED BY DEPARTMENTS ARE NOW RECORDED INSIDE LOCKED DVRS IN THE TRUNK THAT CAN ONLY OPENED BY AN ADMIN. WITH A SPECIAL CODE TO IDENTIFY WHO ACCESSED IT. cOMPUTER TIME DATE STAMPED WITH GPS COORDINATES PERMANENTLY PUT ON VIDEO
