They are all over the place around where I live. Easy pickin's and open season on them.
I also had to very nice sized wild turkey's pass though my yard a couple of weeks ago. That was tempting at the time.

Most people don't believe such talk! But I have tasted and it is good, if cooked right! Our group zeroed out on the hogs, but we did clean out a pond of 8 Otters that were slaughtering the fish in it. They are a nuisance to the wild life as well, and legal to rid off when you vested monetary investment in said ponds, as in stocking them with your own money.
