The latest example of democrats/liberals breaking the law and not being prosecuted. The District Attorney for Bristol County has dropped all charges against two guys that illegally blocked a coal barge from docking at a power plant in Massachusetts. They had been facing jail time but this arbiter of justice decided not to prosecute because of his personal belief in global warming. Can you imagine the uproar if a republican DA (or Attorney General) did something similar?

This guy should be thrown from office... but in Massachusetts, he'll be celebrated.

Unfortunately both parties have evolved into what our framers and founders of this great country warned of. It's no longer a Government which derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. It's the governing elite vs. the rest of us...and they figure they can continue taking from the productive earners and giving to the unproductive in exchange for votes...guess what, it's working. "When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another...." what an amazingly relevant document for today's situation.

That's crazy for sure..........sorry to say but the older I get the more liberal I am. I am just wore out with our politicians and there antics. They have just about run us into the ground again.......another planned disaster is obviously on the horizon. I just don't trust them, call me an independent dependent forever stuck having to live with the poor decisions of our elected folks.

Our country was not designed or set-up to be run by career politicians with expense accounts/health care/retirement.......bla, bla, bla. Nor were we set up to have lobbyist representing special interest groups with deep pockets......not to mention most of the time our lazy politicians allow the lobbyist to actually author the bill that turns into law........you guys already know this stuff. My point is how can the average person trust that the country will stay the course when corporations are making all of the decisions. Now, I definitely do not trust corporations........I guess I'm just distrustful......lol. I'll work on that......lol.

I am sick of all of them. There are no true statesman anymore. It is all about party or self. It seems everyone has a agenda for themselves. It even includes the local level and I am not going to run again when my current term is up as a lowly city councilman. Twelve years is enough. Bottom line on state and federal level is if you do not donate you don't get a say. It is all about raising funds.
