Well I was out having a look for this.
It was to come over at 06-18 or so but as I was watching cloud approached from the South.
They say it was about as big as the one that landed in Russia.
At 40,000kms - That's 1 10th the distance to the moon I guess it was really close.

I got up and sat down with a brew and clicked on the news - and thought wow I am just up in time to see that........

It made its closest approach at a little after 2:00am eastern time and it looks like it missed us!

Nah mate. Way too cloudy. I didn't hear a clunk so I guess it passed right on by.
