Hello Kev. We haven't met yet but I'm also from Tasmania, Hobart. Might have to hook up some time.

We visited Tasmania back in 1997. A couple (Yanish and Josie Kaldy (divorced now)) from Hobart lived here in Freeport, IL for a year and we became acquainted with them. We drove down from Hobart in 2 cars (3 couples total, Sheilas in one car, guys in the other) to Port Arthur. Somewhere along the way I was given the opportunity to drive. Ha!... got home to US and found a photo radar ticket had been issued to Yanish's car whilst I was driving. I said send it me. He did and I cried that I had never driven in Taz, never driven from the right side of the car and never driven using kilometers. Magistrate replied, "We'll forgive you this time, but next time you are stopped in Tasmania you will stand for the ticket". Loved your beautiful state. Would love to ride my 2014 All Blacks Wing there today.

So do deer whistles work on a Kangaroo? They work well on Elephants in the USA, never have seen an Elephant crossing the road. Lol!

Same here Kit Carson, no elephants or deer, just wombats, roo's and a myriad of other kamikaze wildlife
