Hey guys, West Coast of Florida north of Tampa Bay here. I traded a Road King for a 1800 a month or so back. Found an 01 that had 52k on it that I could get into without the dreaded financing. Having a ball so far and have done a lot of this and that to it. Just got some progressive monotubes that are going in soon with the All Balls tapered bearings. All new seals and bushing as well. Was hanging out on a much larger GL forum but the bickering and negativity got the better of me so off to Google I went. Liking what I see over here so far much better.

Yeah, I have put almost 4k on it already. We just pulled in from a weekend over in Daytona. Had a great ride. This bike just eats up the miles in comparison to the Road King. I have had 8 Harleys and lots of other bikes through the years but have always wanted to try a Gold Wing. The King was about to turn 90 k and already had a rebuilt engine but little electrical gremlins were becoming common so I figured it was a good time to try one.
