Hey Rocky.
It has several cracks from when I had a Perilli tire on it. I had repaired them using some pieces of ABS and ABS glue. Worked for a while, then some of them opened up again. Then one of the tabs broke off.
The thing rattles like a tin can on a rough road.

Larry, just a thought. You mentioned above about no Chinese junk. What if you took one of those cheaper ones and coat the inside of the fender with truck bed liner (coat the tabs and all)? Some of those youtube videos show that stuff having amazing strength, even when just one coat is applied.

I am going to the Darkside ride-in in June in Summersville, WV and with any luck I'll be able to make the fall DS ride-in as well. I also hope to get a fair amount of miles in chasing that hillbilly (Murgie) around these mountain roads. I believe I read where you were going to be in Summersville...true?

The Summersville Ride-In is one that I'm NOT going to be at. The motocampers are havin' a camp-in in Tellaco Plains the same weekend and I' already committed myself to that.
There isn't a Fall Darksider's planned yet, is there?

Thanks. The ole mind is slipping. :) I am not sure about a fall DS ride yet. I haven't seen anything posted here and I don't visit other sites. Maybe Murgie has heard something and will chime in.

Don't know if I'll be able to make it at this point though... Lots of plans for the summer. Don't know if my wife will appreciate me taking off on any more Rides or not. Will halfta do a little beggin'.
