  • Looking for 6x12 or 7x14 Tandem Axle Enclosed Trailer w/Ramp

In the next week or so I'm buying a 6x12 or 7x14 Tandem Enclosed Trailer with a ramp to use to move in June and to pull behind my Class C when I retire (99 days!). I thought I might check here as well to see if anyone is tired of having one take up space.

I'm in southeastern NC between Wilmington and Jacksonville. I'm seeing new trailers at several dealers near Charlotte, Fayetteville and Greensboro all in the $3300's; obviously not top of the line, but fine for what I need.

Anyone have a 6x12 or 7x14 Tandem Enclosed Trailer with a ramp that they're interested in selling? Needs to be within ~200 miles of 28460.

    Thanks!

Bought a new 6x12. After doing serious research, it was the safest and most cost efficient route to go.

Congratulations on your impending retirement. That's a beautiful area you live in. I'll be moving somewhere between Charlotte and Raleigh in a few months, time and tide willing.

Good luck! Feel free to PM me and I'll give you the skinny on any areas I know. Funny part is we're leaving for Kansas at the end of June to go out and prep to care for my wife's mom.

Oh, sorry to hear about your wife's mom. My mother just went into a home in Southern Maine and will be on dialysis the rest of her life. But, it's not unexpected with decades of diabetes behind her. Just the next step.

I'd be happy to hear your thoughts on areas to live - we thought we might be able to live between the cities of Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Raleigh-Durham and Greensboro, and work in any/all of the metro areas. Is that doable?

We definitely want something on the water as well, hard to give that up.

          Thanks for any ideas.

We'll move this out of the classifieds, but my MIL's health is good for 80; just having eyesight issues. PM me this weekend.
